WHO AM I?
Hello world, my name is Marcus Hall (Founder) of Legacy Speed Academy.
I am a husband, father, and a United States Air Force Veteran.
As a former football player, weightlifter, track & field athlete, military physical fitness training leader, and now parent to a soccer star, I am more than excited to help young athletes reach their maximum potential, and achieve their dreams.
My love for sports started when I was young. I was always fast and super coordinated, which led to my success as an athlete. I thought that being fast and agile came naturally. However when looking back on my childhood, I realized that my parents had me participate in multiple sports which directly impacted my coordination.
My multi-sport upbringing provided me with the necessary foundation needed to be a complete athlete. Being able to react, run fast, and change direction is a skillset that all athletes must possess.

I decided to start the Legacy Speed Academy because I noticed a lack of fundamental development in youth athletes. I believe this lack of fundamental development comes from factors such as sport specialization too early, inexperienced coaching, as well as the simple fact that even the best coaches don't have the time it takes to teach both sport, and "sports performance training".
Through working with a diverse group of athletes, I’ve come to realize that everybody is unique, each with their own goals and lifestyle. The methodolgy of the Legacy Speed Academy will allow athletes of all skill levels, and ages, to become faster, more agile, and mentally fit.

I take pride in everything that I do, and strive to be the best in all aspects of life. I truly believe that my experiences as former athlete, military fitness leader, and now parent of an athlete, have given me the necessary tools needed to help develop the next generation of athletes.
No athlete should end their career with untapped potential.
“The beauty of coaching is growing the players from the ground up. That journey continues.”
